Liverpool: still the Beatles city Liverpool is still synonymous with the Beatles, and seeing that this year Sir Paul McCartney celebrated his 64th birthday, some extra attractions have been added to the already popular Beatles city, such as a recently introduced "Home of The Beatles" map: it shows 12 sights linked to The Beatles on one side and details of each of the attractions - facts about the Fab Four and suggested itineraries - on the other.
Fans will also be happy to hear that Paul McCartney's home on Forthlin Road - the place where he composed “When I'm 64” - is now open to the public.
